Tax, Kosovo Army stirred tensions in Balkans, says Putin GazetaExpress

Russian President, Aleksandar Putin, who on Thursday visited Belgrade has addressed also solving of Kosovo-Serbia issue. During a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Putin said Russia’s position towards Kosovo is already known.

According to what media have reported, Russian officials stated that Moscow will support every agreement which is acceptable for Serbia. Putin has addressed also the decision of the Government of Kosovo to impose tax on imported goods of Serbia and creation of Kosovo Army, Gazeta Express reports. The Russian President said these two actions have stirred tensions in the Balkan region. “Latest movements of Pristina, by imposing tax and creation of Kosovo army, have created serious tensions,” Putin told journalists in Belgrade. /GazetaExpress/
