Kosovo President Hashim Thaci met on Thursday in the margins of the European Union-Western Balkans Summit in Sofia, with Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras.
During the meeting Thaci and Tsipras discussed on mutual relations between the two countries, on economic and trade exchange as well as cooperation in other fields, according to a statement of Thaci’s press office. President Thaci asked PM Tsipras support on visa liberalisation for Kosovo and country’s membership into the European Union. He also asked support of Greece on Kosovo’s membership into international organisations. In the margins of the EU-WB Summit of Sofia, President Thaci has met also other leaders of the Western Balkan countries.
