Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj reiterated on Tuesday that a 100 percent tax on all goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, will be revoked only after Serbia recognizes Kosovo’s independence.
Haradinaj in a tweet on Tuesday said that Kosovo was left no other choice but to introduce the customs tariffs. The decision came after Serbia’s aggressive campaign against Kosovo’s statehood. “We resisted taking this measure for a long time now but there was no other way out. The 100% tariff will be removed with full normalisation, and full normalisation means recognition,” Haraidnaj wrote.
