Leader of the biggest opposition party in Kosovo, LDK, Isa Mustafa held separate meetings with British Ambassador to Pristina, Ruairi O’Connell, and EU Special Representative to Kosovo, Nataliya Apostolova. In both meetings Mustafa discussed current political developments and dialogue with Serbia, Gazeta Express reports.
According to LDK, Mustafa discussed with O’Connell and Apostolova on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, but they have not elaborated whether this opposition party will join the Government’s dialogue team. In two short press release the LDK confirmed that their leader told British Ambassador the LDK remains committed to deepen cooperation with the UK, whereas during the meeting with the EU Special Representative, Nataliya Apostolova, Mustafa discussed current political situation in Kosovo. “Apostolova encouraged the LDK to continue playing constructive role in further developments important for Kosovo,” it is stated in the press release issued by the LDK.
