KFOR says that it is performing its normal duty in the northern part of Kosovo, under UNSCR 1244 mandate, after media reports that the NATO-led force has stepped up its presence in that part of Kosovo.
KFOR in a press release on Sunday announced that there is no blocfkafe odf Gazivoda dam, and the situation is under control. “There is no blockage of the Gazivoda dam, KFOR has not taken control over the dam and any hydroelectric power station. The situation is calm and under control. KFOR is here to protect all citizens in Kosovo,” it is stated in the press release.
