The EU Office in Kosovo has condemned recent interethnic incidents in Kosovo. In an answer to Gaeta Express it is stated that the EU deplores any action that would seek to intimidate or injure. The incidents targeting Kosovo Serbs have been condemned also by the Government, Presidnt’s Office and embassies.
The European Union Office in Kosovo in an answer to Gazeta Express has supported the Government on implementing the rule of law and respecting of rights of all communities. The EU says that they deplore any action that would seek to intimidate or injure. "The EU deplores any action that would seek to intimidate or injure. We support the government, institutions, law enforcement, all opposition parties, civil society and media to work responsibly to create a Kosovo where the rights of all communities are respected,” the EU Office told Gazeta Express.
Earlier also the Government of Kosovo through a press release has condemned recent interethnic incidents. The Government called on relevant institutions to solve these incidents and bring those responsible to justice.
Also the U.S. Ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delawie, condemned the incidents with ethnic background targeting Kosovo Serbs, and asked the Government and other relevant authorities of Kosovo to address accordingly all cases targeting members of minority communities in Kosovo. /GazetaExpress/
