Director of Serbia’s Government Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, is expected to visit Kosovo today. According to Kosovo Serb online media KoSSev he is expected to attend a solemn meeting of Srpska List, set to be held today in Mitrovica North.
Srpska List’s meeting is set to be held today at noon in the amphitheatre of the Technical Faculty in Mitrovica North. Srpska Lista representatives have asked for consultations with Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic after the Kosovo team withdrew from participation in the next round of the Brussels dialogue, and after the Parliament of Kosovo adopted a resolution on custom unification between Kosovo and Albania. The Srpska Lista is a coalition partner in the government of Ramush Haradinaj. After the arrest of Marko Djuric in North Mitrovica in late in March, they announced withdrawal from the ruling coalition. Djuric was arrested on 26 March by the Kosovo Police for illegally entering Kosovo territory. He was deported to Serbia. His arrest and deportation has raised tensions between Kosovo and Serbia.
