Bosnia asks Kosovo's suspension from CEFTA GazetaExpress

Minister of Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia-Herzegovina Mirko Sarovic says his country will request exclusion of Kosovo from the CEFTA free trade agreement after authorities in Pristina imposed last month 100 percent tax on all goods entering from Bosnia and Serbia.

Sarovic told Sarajevo-based media that there is no need to restore countermeasures adding that Bosnia's response could be a request for the exclusion of Kosovo from agreements that guarantee free trade. "One of the possible measures, if the measure is not lifted, is to ask for their suspension from the CEFTA (Central European Free Trade Agreement) framework, but we will ask also for suspension from the SAA (Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU). They will meet on December 17, and we will inform (EU officials) Johannes Hahn and Federica Mogherini about it," Sarovic told media.
