Director of Office for Kosovo at the Government of Serbia, Marko Djuric, met the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Jan Braathu, informing him that ‘Serbia is ready to continue the dialogue” with Kosovo.
According to Belgrade based media, Djuric said that “only Pristina is obstructing this process,” referring to the EU-brokered dialogue in Brussels between Kosovo and Serbia. Djuric also mentioned the killing of the Kosovo Serb politician, Oliver Ivanovic, and cooperation with Kosovo in solving this case. He said that Serbia will continue to help Serbian citizens in Kosovo politically, economically and in other aspects, and announced that in the future this help will increase. Belgrade has unilaterally decided to interrupt talks with Kosovo on 16 January the day Oliver Ivanovic was gunned down in northern part of Mitrovica.
