Montenegro Prime Minister, Dusko Markovic, during a joint press conference with his Kosovo counterpart, Ramush Haradinaj, said his country is willing to help Kosovo to solve this issue.
Asked to comment the demarcation issue which has not been ratified by Kosovo Assembly, Markovic said that Podgorica has already finished its obligations related to this issue, but considering the obstacles the demarcation is facing in Kosovo, he said that Montenegro is willing to help Kosovo to find a solution. Markovic said that they want good neighborly relations and a sound friendship confirming that there are no unresolved issues between the two countries. The demarcation issue, according to Markovic, is not a problem but as he said, “only an open issue.”
“We don’t have problems, we have some open issues which I believe will be addressed accordingly in the future,” Markovic said. He said that Montenegro is willing to help Kosovo on its EU integration path.
Also Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj expressed his optimism that there is a willingness to find a solution to the demarcation issue. “We have discussed the demarcation issue. There is a willingness to find a solution to current situation and I hope a solution will be found,” Haradinaj said briefly. /Express/
