Ramush Haradinaj, nominee for prime minister from the PDK-AAK-Nisma (PAN) coalition, during an interview with Radio Free Europe says that Kosovo will have its new institutions within ten days.
Haradinaj says that with the support of the Alliance New Kosova (AKR) headed by Behgjet Pacolli, Kosovo will have a broad-based Government. He reiterated that the only candidate for the position of speaker is the PDK chairman, Kadri Veseli. Commenting on the latest political move of the AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli who signalled that he might switch alliances and support PAN to form the Government, Haradinaj said that this represents a new momentum and he believes that Pacolli will do his best to end political deadlock. “This situation is more than welcomed and Pacolli’s idea for a broad-based coalition is in the interest of the state, and we are open to support Pacolli’s new approach,” Haradinaj said. When asked about forming new Government, Haradinaj said that he believes the new institutions will be established within 10 days.
