Kosovo Parliament Speaker, Kadri Veseli, says he "expected more" from the European Commission Strategy on Western Balkans which was published today in Strasbourg.
Speaker Veseli took Facebook on Tuesday to comment publishing of the new EU strategy on Western Balkans, stating that the new strategy “in principle shows clear European perspective of Kosovo.”
“It is good news that for the first time the EU member countries accept and treat Kosovo as an independent and sovereign country, including the EU members which have not recognised Kosovo,” Veseli wrote. But despite this Veseli who is also head of the ruling Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), said that Kosovo deserves more when it comes to Euro-Atlantic integrations. “We have deserved and I expected more, but our European perspective is unstoppable. Kosovo will continue its path towards development and Euro-Atlantic integrations, by fulfilling all outstanding criteria,” Veseli wrote in his Facebook.
