The LDK-AKR-Alternativa (LAA) coalition does not support the idea of a broad-based government to overcome the political crisis in the country, says LAA's candidate for prime minister, Avdullah Hoti.
Avdullah Hoti, the LDK caucus chief and the LAA candidate for prime minister, said that they are even against a coalition with Vetevendosje. "The new government cannot be led by people who have captured institutions [alluding to the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK)] or people who attacked institutions," said Hoti. The LDK MP Arben Gashi said yesterday a broad-based government would solve the political crisis. But Hoti said that the PDK does not have the parliamentary majority. "The LDK’s position is clear. According to the recent elections results, the PDK cannot make the parliamentary majority," Hoti told Express.
