The hearing session of the so called “The Land” case against former member of Kosovo Parliament and ex-commander of the General Headquarters of the KLA, Azem Syla, has been postponed.
The hearing scheduled to be held on Tuesday against Syla and others who are suspected of illegally expropriating socially owned lands near Pristina, has been postponed after the judge Nora Bllaca was not present at the court. Bllaca is the only local judge in this case. Former chief commander of the KLA, Azem Syla, and 38 other people are suspected of illegally expropriating public owned properties causing millions of euro damages to the state. In December 2016, Azem Syla pleaded not guilty of these charges.
