Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj asked his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borissov to support European path of Kosovo and help the country become member of international organisations and get new recognitions.
Haradinaj during a meeting with Borissov on Monday, who is paying an official visit to Kosovo, said that economic cooperation and joint EU path is of mutual interest. “Kosovo needs its friends to help on visa liberalisation and EU membership. Bulgaria is one of the friendly countries and we expect their support in this process. Kosovo will always remain open to deepening of economic and political cooperation with Bulgaria,” Haradinaj said. He also said that Kosovo remains committed to economic and political cooperation with this EU member. “Bulgaria has an ally, Kosovo! We are honoured with your pre3sence in our country and our countries have no open issues,” said Haradinaj.
Bulgarian PM thanked Haradinaj for the reception, stating that his country is committed to strengthen mutual relations, economic partnership and joint EU path. He also said that Bulgaria is interested to invest in Kosovo and invited Haradinaj to visit Sofia.
