A 15-month-old baby has died on Wednesday in Pristina hospital after suffering from measles becoming the first known death of the disease in an outbreak in Kosovo.
The news on child’s death has been confirmed to Gazeta Express, by the director of the Infection diseases clinics in Pristina, Hamdi Ramadani. “Unfortunately a 15-month-old baby of the Romma community has died today. It was confirmed that the child was not vaccinated,” Ramadani told Express. So far there have been over 100 cases of measles in this clinic.
